Amazon Requires Removal of Meltable FBA Inventory Before April 20, 2026

Amazon has announced that it will not accept meltable inventory at FBA fulfillment centers between April 20, 2026, and September 28, 2026.



Meltable products include heat-sensitive items such as:

  • chocolate

  • gummies

  • wax-based products

  • jelly-based items


Key Policy Update


  • Meltable inventory must be removed before April 20, 2026

  • After this date, remaining stock may be marked unfillable

  • Starting May 1, 2026, Amazon may dispose of remaining items for a fee


What Sellers Should Do


Sellers are advised to:

  • review meltable ASIN inventory

  • create FBA removal orders in Seller Central

  • avoid storage past the cutoff date
